Let’s skip the part where people mention their birth date. Internet is not a safe environment to mention this date anyway.
I come from a family where almost everybody was a teacher. Naturally, I became a teacher as well. I have a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics and I was a teacher and a translator of English language. I happen to know and speak fluently several Slavic languages. My native language is not English but at this point it really does not matter too much.
I came to USA in 1979. It was the same year Sergey Brin came to USA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergey_Brin He was about 6 years old, and I was not. I don’t know Sergey personally, but may be one day I will meet him. Anyway, Sergey, if you ever read my blog, stop by and say ’ Hello’. I am very proud of you.
I have extensive education in computers that is enhanced by 25 years of professional career as a software developer, technical writer, designer and Information Technology manager.
I am an avid reader in fourth generation. I am an eternal student and intend to stay that way for as long as I live. I visited more museums then I care to remember. I am a widow.
I have several hobbies. Reading, working out with kettlebells almost every day, listening to music, visiting museums, going to live theater shows and spending time with my real life and cyber friends – my favorite times. Computers – my obsession.
Now my life revolves around my job as a Computer Programmer, my online life which is very entertaining and dating.
